The CEO and founder of Netki, Justin Newton, met with business leaders, bankers, government officials and financial regulators to discuss digital currencies and how to accelerate a successful digital currency transformation strategy for their businesses and organizations.
The founder of Netki gave a keynote presentation as the first KYC provider to onboard an entire country, El Salvador, and his unique perspective for future Bitcoin adoption by nation states. Newton shared his experience and talked about the challenges this small nation faced when launching a cryptocurrency exchange with over 4 million users and how it is now fostering innovation and changing its story.
Additionally, Nolvia Serrano, the CMO of Netki, participated in a panel discussion on Thursday, July 8th at 11:30 AM entitled “Adoption of Bitcoin in El Salvador, Expectations and Reality“. Since 2018, Blockchain Summit LatAm has promoted the Crypto and blockchain ecosystem in Latin America, first, through events and today with weekly programs.
